The difference between Congress and my sons . . .

My boys will answer a direct question, no matter how stoopid the question, honestly.  Tim recently sold his scooter/moped to Danny.  We’re back to sharing cars, which is fine, mostly.  Today, Tim took my car to his orientation at his new job at Publix (a grocery store).  He’s keeping his Mcdonald’s job as well. And going to school. Go Tim.

Today, however, I was waiting for Tim to return.  I had errands to run and things to do. I got in the car.  It was clean – really clean AND vaccuumed.  I got out of the car (forgot my phone) and the outside of the car was also clean and shiny.  Got back into the car and turned it on – the gas tank was full.  Hmmmm . . . .

I went and performed my errands, all the time thinking, Tim must be up to something.  The car is too clean, he’s being too nice.  When I got home, I asked Tim about this . . . He assured me all was fine.   And, I believed him.  He followed me outside where I was getting bags out of the car.  Tim leaned over me and asked if I wanted to see the ultrasound.

It’s not wrong to punch your son in the face sometimes, is it?  He’s not even remotely funny.
