I’m sure many of you have taken a Myer-Briggs-type personality test. I’ve taken several for various jobs. It’s always the same for me: INTJ – Introverted, Intuition, Thinking, Judgemental. It’s a profile that screams to large companies “Do NOT hire me!” Actually, it screams that to any company unless I happen to own the company. It’s accurate for me.
This afternoon, a friend shared this link. It shows head outlines filled with words describing the personality type. The alternate view is an upside down head showing the major stressors for each personality type. I laughed out loud at the stressors. They are SO accurate it was as if someone filled the head in with words after listening to me pitch a fit Sunday night. I’ve always been this way – except for the fit-pitching part and I am working hard on that. It’s just too weird.
Give it a try and let me know if it’s accurate for you. In the meantime, have a look inside my head!
For “enquiring minds,” Mike is ESTJ and Andy is ESTP. I’m going to get Ian and Tim to try it. My guess is that Tim will match Mike and Ian will be very close to me. Dan is a toss up!
